I have tried to cross-flash and have had no luck.

There are a few different flash types mate dont worry ^, but it looks like your missing a few steps out, you cant just flash the burner max firmware to the drive all in one go.

Are you also sure you have the correct revision drive? as yours says 1260t and on C4ever site it says 1260i

I have the exact same drive only 1270i - It also shows 1270t on comp. It flashes just fine. And yes you can write direct from 1260 to LT Max you the just need to convert drive in EEPROM (crossflash tab).

Best advice is make sure you are using the correct file (iHAS-524B-AL2A-MKM001MKM003-final) it should be 2,048KB in size

You can use 124B or 324B but you might as well take full advantage of the drives capabilities
