if i flash the 1957 repack through the html method, do i still have to rename it to bios.bin and create a dummy file. or do you only do that when burning it to a disc. thanks

no, you don't have to rename the file if you are using the html method.
yes, if you use the cdrw method and yes to adding a dummy file to the cdrw.

Swapping LiteOn drive for BenQ

hi my lite on drive that i flashed started acted up i dunno if its the laser but i figure i swap it for the benq i erased the ben q n i save the dummy key from the lite on n used it as the source n put the ix1.6 for the benq target n spoofed them then when i go to write it would come up as invaled so if i'm doin it wrong can someone explain to me what to do step by step thanx
