ive read all the tuts on how to do this but im wondering if i need to do somthing else like configure my nic cards. i have two and this is how i plan on doing this but every time i try i wont let me. i try to put the adress 192.168.0.99 in the adress bar of internet explorer but i can never get to the screen that it shows in the tuts where you flash ur chip, can anybody help thanks

if you have used the search function on http flash, you would have found multiple of my posts on how to do this. Besides, can't help you with your limited info given ie. hardware you have (router or crossover cable), pc ip, etc.

i have dsl thats connects directly into the nic card in the back of my pc then i have a second nic card connected to my xbox using a crossover cable. i dont have a router is this wat u were looking for

After you get past the lesson in binary numbering there is a good explanation of subnets - ya can't have both nic's on the same subnet. This is the only tutorial I've come across that actually explains that minor little pain-in-the-butt point...
