I installed a x3 on a 1.4 I was trying to flash the linux bios on http mode but it froze half way , then I rebooted the xbox and now all I get is the external led on the switch board the light is red=disable chip, and there no more linux screen, it only boots up on original bios?? how can I flash this chip?? is there a way? thanks
ps I already flipped the switch on the x3 board on either protect/unprotect and still no luck seen the linux screen (or the first screen I saw the fist time)

well after few hours of work I was able to flash the x3 with all corresponding bios, boots up fine with a 1.4 all bioses, so I reflashed some slots for a 1.6b
sofar the 1.6b doesn't boot up, not even with cromwell3.0.3 or 1959_1.6
still a black screen, led flashes green then red, x3 led is blue, it seems like a wrong bios, is there another ver other than 1.6b?? I alredy more than triple checked my solder connections, at this point I give up with 1.6b and x3, I will cancel future orders of the x3 until I get some answers, I'm thinking of fitting a x2.3 pro on the 1.6b just to support what I've been thinking, a new model is the reason.

the reason to use a 1.4 was to update to 3.03 so I can install on a 1.6b, sofar I have been able to flash it, but when trying to boot up on the 1.4 the x-LED is just red= disable, and when installed on the 1.6b flashed with either cromwell3.03 (1meg or 256K) the 1.6b is just a black screen and thats it, if I turn it on regular mode it boots the original bios, at this point I don't know what to do , could I have a bad chip? bios? I already checked all solder points and re-touched 3-4, but same problem, what is the correct setting to flash and boot up under 3.03 cromwell??

I installed several xcuter pro, but this new and a x3 on a 1.4 before, but this new 1.6b is kicking my butt, any other help would be appreciated.
