I was hoping to find a thread like this. Will the X3 1959 with slayer evox 2.6 support a usb keyboard and mouse, and will linksbox support it, or is this a stupid question?
I tried to play a backup of an old original xbox game (not 360) and it told me I needed to update my system, so I did and it still won't play. The system sees its an original xbox game but won't play it. It is on the backwards compatibility list. I have the original of the game at my other house so I can try that out in a few days, but I have no doubts that would work.
Anyone had any luck getting original xbox backups to play on the LT 1.1 firmware?
Re: Playing backups of original xbox games on 360...
thanks i had never heard of needing to change the hdd for play xbox 1 games. I will look into this!
edit: so not having a partition 2 on my hdd will not even allow me to boot the game? I understand it needs a place to save the games to but do you know if the partition is needed to play the game if i didnt plan on saving?
Re: Playing backups of original xbox games on 360...
partition 2 is where the emulator is stored, your best option would be to copy the files from a friends partition 2 or you could dl the newest backward compatability disc from the xbox website and run that and see if that straitens it out.
Re: Playing backups of original xbox games on 360...
thanks for the help guys, i appreciate it!
I read the 360 hd upgrade wiki and it sounds like more trouble than its worth for what I wanted to play haha. I guess if I get some extra energy I could do it, but id hate to do it in vain when I just want to play one game for a few hours lol.
my hd isnt modded to my knowledge so it seems like i should have the partition 2 configured correctly i think? I upgraded my 360 as recommended by microsoft but it didnt help.
