Ok. I got a 1.6b xbox, installed a X3, a X3 control panel.

I was able to boot the 1.6b up to 5678 and enable the http flashing.

I tried to load the 3294 instead f 3294plus bin.

The flash erased (yellow bar) completley, but then it hung up on the flash (green bar) for like 20 minutes. I hit the power button to reboot, and now im fraggin. I noticed that I didnt change the switches to flash another bios, so I flashed over unsuccesfully on the only bios I could boot.

What do I do now? the 256 backup wont boot, just get black screen, and I get black screen on every other bios. How can I fix this?

flashbios 3.0.1 on switch setting (on on off off) as welll as backup bank works with v1.0 to v1.6 xbox but not v1.6b
flashbios 3.0.3 on switch setting (off on off off) works with v1.0 to v1.6b xbox but not v1.6

you will need to do a hotswap or put chip into a v1.0 to v1.6 xbox then flash it with right bios or send it back to suppler and they may reflash it with a new flashbios 3.0.3

I have an old 1.0 xbox that has an Xecuter 2.3pro in it, I used the header pin when I installed the 2.3 in the old xbox years ago. Would it be possible to throw this X3 into that old xbox on the header for 2.3pro?

Would this rundown worK:
1. install screwed X3 into the old 1.0 xbox
2. Boot to 256k backup (pressing eject and power)
3. Flash 3294plus to switch settings off on off off
4. remove chip and reinstall it in the 1.6b xbox
5. Verify switch is set to off on off off
6. Boot up and enjoy repaired chip with 3294plus bios.
7. Load XBMC... :)

Would the above steps work correctly? or would I be wasting time?

That worked!! Once I got it flashed on my old xbox, i stuck it in the 1.6b and she is working.

Only bad thing is I lifted some traces on my X3LCD and now it no worky.. :( I guess from all the assembly and disassembly, I scratched the back of the lcd somehow. I dont know if I can fix the tiny tiny traces.. But everything else is working great!!!

I also flashed over my FlashBios 3.03 and am using a 1.6b box, however I have two X3 chips. One is the original X3 and the other is a CE. I tested the original X3 but it would not boot on any of the switch settings I tried, or in 256K backup. Would the CE chip have 3.03 in its 256K bank?
