i have an ihas124b and 424b..ive verified successfully my games thru abgx with everything passing checks..in imgburn i use settings calculate optimal, go to liteon settings and enable forcedhypertuning, online hypertuning, and smartburn..i then go to the tools and i/o then change it from 40mb to 512 mb...i use verbatim discs to burn..halfway thru the verify process it pops up an i/o error message...for kicks it let me just click continue which i did..put it in the xbox and it played then popped up an error message..the game was still playing in the background w the error screen up but any buton i hit brings me to the disc unreadable screen...any info appreciated..wonder if would work if i just didnt verify the disc..someone said memorex discs alwys fail the verify but like i said im using verbatims..

are you using the correct burning speed? depending on your verbatims it should be 2.4X for 001, or 4X for 003.
What type of verbatims do you have, 1's or 3's?

ive been using the verbatim 8x..mkm003 and burned at 4x....someone told me that the 001 are better and always work...also read that it may work if i dont verify the disc..
Well, I use 001's because that's what is available at my local Best Buy. Not one coaster as of 20 burned games. I have like 5 blanks left.
My speed is set to 2.4X verification disabled. XBL going ok so far. Not sure if it's the verification thing or what.
I'd give it a try...you have no other choice anyway.
where is the option for no opc???no ive tried burning at 2.4x but just with some cheap discs i had..actually got one of them to work..dont know for how long bc only played about 30min of it but seems fine so far...is kprobe2 supposed to be better than imgburn??thanks

For no OPC in Imgburn , Select Tools, Settings,Write, Perform OPC Before Write, uncheck the box
