I am back to an old tread.....

Ok, my xbox gives kernel error 13 when it boots from the original bios (x3 disabled). The original dashboard doesn't boot and I get a flashing green red led after 3 sec approx. This situation doesn't appear when I boot from a modded bios (1959-evox m8-xecuter2). After installing a backup of the partition c:\ the problem is not solved, remains the same. Looking again at FAQs seems that for some reason I have got a faulty chip (TSOP ?), but I am not 100% sure about this.... Am I right or wrong.....................

Any Ideas guys?

I did it but still the same situation

have you used slayers or your own backup of the c partition?

its possible that your own backup of c was already screwed up before you backed it up

I used my own back up. I took my back up the next day I got my xbox. I had a corrupted audio file which I took it from slayers. The problem with the dashboard appeared after one month of operation. Any ideas?

yeah just try to reinstall the whole bunch of ms files from slayers. it will work.
let me know something.

Ok I will try this even though I am 100% sure that I had only one file corrupted from my backup. Thanks a lot.
