I barely got my X3 today and i need bios help.

Ok i got 1959 bios file and i got my chip installed. i used nero to make a bootable data disk. i added the 100meg dummy file and the bios bin. when i try put it in my box it tells me no bios update halting...what should i do?

try using a dvdr, my xbox would not read cdr's, also make sure your settings on nero are set like the tutorial. It took me 3 dvdrs before I got it right.

the other question is... did you extract the .bin files out of the .rar file that you downloaded?

I got an error like that once when installing my X3... turned out my flash protection was on. Is your flash protection on your chip on?

[side note]Looks like the error I got, but if it's not then I guess I'm wrong, but you might as well check just to be sure.[/side note]
