Hello,

I nedd some help here

I have everything installed but when I try and boot into xell to get my cpu key, it won't boot black screen. Also, no light at all in the CR4XL.

I can dumb the nad and I can Write ECC to the NAD. Although, I get block err but from what I understand it will remapped so no problem here.

When I failed to get into xell I returned the original nad the Xbox boot and the logo came out.

I put some pictures for my soldering for the blue and yellow cable I didn’t put picture because I returned back the x clamp. But I review it many time no problems.

Some of your solder joints look cold, particularly at the QSB. Did you use flux? You may want to add some and hit it with the iron again. Also, what dip settings are you trying? And please clarify if the console does boot back to stock without any issues? When you say no light at all on the CR4 do you mean the 5V light isnt even on? If so your QSB soldering is probably the issue.

@BrockThunderjam

His soldering is poor/moderate at best, but I think that even at the low quality the soldering is, the cause may be something other than mediocre soldering, but I may be wrong.

  • Yes, I did use some flux. Regarding, the dip switch 3$4 on the rest off.
  • Yes I return the console back to stock and it did boot with no problems.
  • For the light Yes it's not even on. No red light or green.
  • I thought since I can write to the nad that's mean my QSB soldering was o.k. I am thinking if that the case I will get ride off the QSP and connect the x-nad cable directly to the point it's much easier to soldier.

Nowhere
I would say soldering problem. If you dont even get the red led on,then soldering must be your problem
5 volt wire dont look to be soldered very good,it looks like its def making contact,but def need to get the solder to flow onto that wire better.

Hi:

Finally I succeed and every thing went perfectly. it's like what you said guys bad soldering.
I just removed the QSP and solder directly to the point. It's not necessary what I did was the right way to go but it was easier for me to solider without the QSP.
