I have a 1.0 xbox and an xecuter 3 (not ce) and when i load my bios itt sees everything and loads up properly but when I try to move the menu option to select an option it doesn't select it.also when I try to boot to backup it turns purple but then it shuts my xbox down. I have installed and uninstalled my chip 4 times and I finally got it to work after doing the wire install and cliing the purple wire and bridging it to my chip. Any suggestions?

P.S. hey dude that replied to that other dudes post that had almost the same prop. DON'T RESPOND all you did wuz make fun of noobs and say well first you need to select an option.THAT WUZ HIS PROB.

First make sure that you are using the stock m$ S controller, the flashbios has a
hard time with third party controllers. Make sure that you don't have a memory
card in controller. You are using the d pad to move the cursor, right?

If you have a dvd dongle try using the remote to move in the flashbios.

And last have only one controller in the xbox and use port 1.

You're trying to flash your chip right?...thats what I am getting out of this...if so, try and use a regular M$ controller.
