If you have bridged 2 points with solder causing a short, then remove the excess solder.

Not sure what else you could mean by "too much solder".

These types of errors are very common, seems like just a coincidence too me, that you happened to be jtaging it at the time.

You should be able to remove it with just your soldering iron.

I don't know where you are from or what kind of shops you have there. As with most things, eBay can usually give you what you want. Which is desoldering braid / wick.

Yes, it can be fixed. Do some searching with your error code.

It's not a problem if J2D2 is missing the solder spot, but that's not your problem now, your problem is the RROD. Or, have you somehow lifted J2D2 after you soldered the wire?

The board looks clean...I guess you'll have to do a re-flow.

Most of the people here are asking for pics after you attempted to install the hack.

If you can post pictures of what your board looks like right now, there may be solder splashes or bridged points that you could clean up.

However, there is a very good chance it is a legit GPU/RAM error (This can happen when the board isnt handled properly once removed from the cage). A reflow can correct this issue.
