I Flashed My Box With X3 1959....Now What?

I Just Succesfully Flashed My Xecuter 3 Chip With X3_1959......And I Have A Backup of My Halo Game Because The Old One Looked Like A Pile Of Rocks Fell On The Disk.....I Want To Play but Is There Anything Further I Have To Do Or Just Put The Disk In And Play?

I Also Have Slayers Evox But I Dont Know If Thats Compatible With X3 So I Didnt Put It In Yet.....

Any Help is Appreciated...I Dont Want To hurt My Box!!

so i can install slayers evox by just putting it on a dvd and putting it in my box?

Hitachi to stock & reflash

I have been told that the cause of my hitachi not Reading could be due to a bad flash an I should return to stock and flash to iXtreme 1.51

Would this be worth trying also can I not just flash straight to iXtreme without returning to stock?

My drive is a Hitachi 47D and currently flashed to LT+1.1

any advice anyone?

You need to return to stock first (option with jungleflasher)

test a non-backup copy of a game and see if it reads, then reflash

Hitachi drives are old, its possible that your lens has burned out or is dirty/not functioning properly.

thanks for the reply

i can boot retail discs but struggles with backups,

when i attempt to boot it, it seems to read disc then stop & start multiple times before open tray appears...

any ideas?

try cleaning the laser lens first (cue-tip with isopropyl alcohol) if it still doesnt work google pot-tweak
