I been on the forms for days now and some mods know ...
But am throwing in the towel ....I did everything ..
So you know I bought a x3 installed it perfect with a solidleess adaptor the lights all showed perfect on the chip and the adaptor ...Then conected the hard drive and disc tray ..pluged it in and the flash bio 3.0.1 shows on the screen so I made a disc and flashed the xbox it flashed then turned off ...The first flash didnt work 3029 it made the box frag the second flash 1959 worked but no audio or video..so I did my reserch and found out the 13 14 hole have to do with audio and video problems so I thought to myself why is the adaptor showing all the connections good all 3 light where on and the red light ...so I thought it could be the adaptor ..so I uninstalled it and soildered the wires in that come with the x3 so I sent the morning doing that hoping that was the problem ....
My luck same thing black screen no audio or video chip lights up 2 blue lights but nothing ..so I checked the back up held the power and eject button and the screen pops up 3.0.1 and I reflash and reflash but stll nothing tried 3029 1959 and 1957 Still Black screen with no audio ...
So am sure this chip is faulty ...it worked fine when I installed it.. It would give me the bios 3.0.1 screen right on start up but whenI flashed it ...Never saw that screen again only in back up mode ...
So if you got anthing else for me am going to contact modchip.ca and return this chip ...
