To find out what xbox version you have just open up your xbox and look behind yor dvd rom, that is the drive on the left side of your xbox. There is a black chip stuck onto the motherboard a little to the left of the fan. You might need a flash light to see it. It will say conexant video encoder or focus video encoder. Conexant is v1.0-v1.1. Focus is v1.2-v1.5. You don't need the flashbios 3.0.3 You should allready have flashbios 3.0.0

To find the version of your xbox click here
If you got the chip installed and it boots up to the Flashbios screen flash the X3_1959 bios to a 1Mb bank (1-4 on on off off) you dont need flashbios3.0.3 if your 3.0.0 works. X3_1959 and 3.0.3 work on all versions.

Re: Noob doin for the first time

I would recommend that READ the jungleflasher over a few times which coresponds with the relevant drive you have and then get another 360 if you can to test out on and if your still unsure what too do then get someone else to do it for you.

Hope this helps :)
