Depending on where you got it from. It might already have 3.0 on it.

If you got it from xconsoles it should be updated to new v3code already so no need for the update cable

I got mine from xconsoles when I got my coolrunner and qsb's
I got the usb one as I have a ck3 lite

ur nandx is v3 ur good.

The easiest way to find out is when you get to programming your coolrunner with its timing files - If your Nand-X is not v3 the error 'Incompatible version' or something to the same effect is returned by nandpro. Hope this helps.
