I posted and no one replies what with this. Well the problem is when I turn on my xbox it turns on and off 2 times and i get a black screen. I cant see anything. And it flashes red and green on the eject buttom. Someone one told me to do a backup by pressing power and the eject button but the screen is black and white and the screen flashes like crazy and I can barely read whats on the screen. Can some one tell me what to do. the box been manufactured 11 of 2004.

Plus when I go to the backup by pressing power and the eject and insert the bios disc nothing happens. When I insert the disc shouldn't it reflash by itself.

One more thing the bios bisc that I made. Its xecuter bios 3029. I made a dummy file and put those to bin files and burned them using nero. Did I do it right.

Please some one help me.

Tell me if its fixable, and how to reflash.

When replying to this post please go in order from what back screen to the reflash. and number it so I know.

Thanks

Please Help me.

Dude, I have never heard the word attitudinal before:) Good one!

Ok, you flashed the wrong bios and your xbox is set to a region that your TV doesn't support. So when you go to back-up bios it goes all black and white... and crappy.

There are a coupel of things you can do. First, you can try a reflash off the back-up even though you can't see it. Just open the tut and follow the instructions and you'll be find.

Second you can search the forum for region changes during boot. I think it's the trigger buttons while booting but I've never done it.

If those don't work you can send it to someone to fix for you. Good luck:D

I always use a network flash. I see no reason to flash with a disk unless you have no network.

If you run xp for windows bypass nero and use xp's burn program. Use this tutorial http://www.xbox-scene.com/articles/bios-cd-xp.php
Make sure you check the "random content" box. Burn the cd..
Boot your box and after it boots press down three time and the press "a"
this should be where it asks you to enter a bios cd to flash from. The dvd should eject so you can put the cd in. Also, remember to split the RAR file and take the right bios. I didnt do that and I had the same problem you have right now.

If all else fails and you get nowhere and live in the uk, if you send me your chip I will flash the bios for you and send it back so you can then try the region switch button combo. PM me if all else fails.

After you select flash from CD (I am not sure if that is how it is worded)
And After the XBox Finishes a flash it should power down

Ya..... No!

It doesn't have the brains to start flashing by itself. You got to select the right option...which you can't see coz your screens gone to poo. Somebody already told you the button combo to use. Follow their advice. (Down 3 times and then A, i believe it was)

Dude, I had a problem with not being able to get my chip flashed and just figured it out last week! I tried making all kinds of dummy files and creating xiso's, etc... Even flashed the wrong BIOS. Nothing worked! Google Auto-Installer Deluxe and get it. It's great for noobs (like us). It has a bios, x3.3294 (or for whatever verson you have), that is a .bin file. I just burned that straight to a DVD-R(changing the name to bios.bin before drag-n-drop in Nero) and BAM! I just had a hard time making a readable disc before. If you can't see your screen during back-up, then go blind, step-by-step w/tutorial. Good luck, hope this helps at all.

Auto-Installer Deluxe is everything you need for a newly modded xbox. It has hacked-dashboards (to play "backup" games), various BIOS' for different version xbox's, and tons' of emulators, even a nice little maual to guide you. It has an easy-to-use menu for navigation once you use the installer.
I don't know if I can do this but here is the web site:
www.aid.xbox-hq.com
go to 'download' on the left, you will need a torrent client, like ABC client (if you don't know just google).
Download Auto-Installer v2.11, you need to un-rar (app. WinRAR), open folders, auto-installer/BIOS/1mb and there is x3.3294 (for xboxv1.6). This is an image, .bin, ready to be read by the xbox.
Open up nero burning rom. It will open up an interface with 4 windows. browse for the x3.3294.bin. Before you drag-n-drop, you need to rename the image to "bios.bin", then drag-n-drop. You need to follow specifics for nero according to www.teamxecuter.com/flashBIOS/dvd.htm, and set all ticks exactly as shown. I used a DVD-R.
By the way, I didn't use any dummy files like most recommend and it worked fine.
Now your ready to flash your chip. Since you flashed the wrong BIOS you need to start in back-up, turn on your xbox by pressing both power and eject. And since you can't see anything, follow the guide on www.teamxecuter.com/flashBIOS. In summary, once you think your screen is displaying the FlashBIOS menu, go down t the third option and click 'A', your DVD tray should pop open ready to take the DVD-R. Put it in and close and it should do the rest, also shutting off by itself. Then restart with chip enabled and you should be ready to install a dashboard. Again, burn the Auto-Installer Deluxev2.11.FINAL.iso to DVD and put it in your xbox.
Hopefully this should work for you. I hope everything was clear enough. Let us know how it worked out for you!

You should be able to see fine using FlashBIOS from backup. This is designated to help fix the f-ups. Try downloading the AID and using the updated BIOS. This should start you fresh. Can you here the sound of the start up (like you do when you start chip-disabled)?
