I have a serious problem

I had the same prob with network flashing...you can't do it until AFTER the chip is flashed with the bios....

(The XBOX will not load the bios by itself when you put the disc in .... once you boot up your XBOX, boot to the backup bios by holding the eject on/off switch....then follow from the post above ..... "press down three time and the press "a" ...the drive will eject, put in your disc ....after a minute or so your xbox should turn off - and your bios should be flashed....

I know it is difficult not being able to see what you are doing....

Again Im not having trouble with my bios. Its working fine All I need is change the region for video and Im set. Can someone naviagte me through to change it.

Alright, now I got what you need. When you turn on your xbox, let it boot. When the menu appears press DOWN 4 times, hit 'A', then go DOWN 1 time, hit 'A', then you have three choices, in this order:
PAL 1:
NTSC U:
NTSC J:
I don't know what region your in. You only have three choices so trial and error shouldn't be diffucult.

what bios are u using im using x3029 right now. Ill try doing it on 3029 bios if that doesnt work ill flash the 3294bios and check on that ok

Yeah, I'm using x3.3294 bios. Sorry, didn't realize it. Did you get AID. If you don't yet know 'bout torrents, you gotta learn. Hadn't bought software, music, movies... for years.

ok the things you told me dont work. When i startup my xbox loads the xbox sound and all i get is settings, xbox live, music, and something else. I already downloaded aid 2.1 i when to bios discs went to 1mb x3294. The fle is 300mb iso. What i did is opened that ios with winrar and took out the bios.bin and burned that with nero and using a dummy file. I put only bank 1 on and the rest off. It flashed and shut off by itself. When I went to turn it on I got a black screen no sound and it doesnt shut off by itself. Did i flash the wrong one or are may banks not set right.

ok i flashed it i got the wrong banks set up. I flashed x3294 bios. It works now. The thing that you said to do 4 down press a down 1 press a and pick what region it doesnt work. I can read out some of the things but its hard. The things on the main menu when I boot the xbox is memory, xbox live, settings, music that all it says. Can someone navigate me better to fix the video problem. I need to change the region.

Can you not make out the video settings when the menu pops up? There are only three choices. If one of them don't work, then you need to consider that you might have another problem. Using x3.3294, from the earlier post is how you get to the video setting. When you go down 4 times and then 1 time, you have 3 choices, you tried all three of them? Make sure on your banks that you have "on on off off off". I think that you have it right, though. And that you are using the bios from the /1mb folder. The size is 1024 KB. Try without dummy.

Yes i cant read them casue i can see what it says but i dont know if im clicking on the right option. On the main menu I have memory, music, settings, and xbox live. I dont have nothing else on the manin menu.

I don't think that you flashed right. That is what it should say without the bios set. You should get, xbox live config...eeprom...settings...etc. and lots of others. Near the bottom it should say, reboot to dash...cold reboot...and one other thing (I am not in front on my xbox). When you start up and you get the Xbox logo, at the bottom it should say, "Xecuter: Rox my Box". That's how you know it's flashed (but you might not be able to read it). I don't think that you are flashing a disc that is correctly read by the xbox. Check your media (DVD_R)and your Nero settings (all ticks correctly set), then you should beable to flash correctly.

Ok it does say Rox my Box when I turn my xbox on. But On the main Menu It does not say anything what you have. It says memory, settings, music, xbox live. I flashed with 3294 bios. for 1.6 xboxs

How could you do this? The X3 BIOS is a 1MB BIOS and the backup is only 256KB.

You're proving my point. Did you even read my post a few back where I explicitly said you couldn't use an X3 BIOS in the backup and told you why?
