OK, dude, it sounds like you flashed the right bios. When you had the banks switched to "on on off off off" (or you should have), you saved it to a portion of the chip. You didn't flash over your backup, it should still be there in case you f-up again.
In short, if you can see the screen and you get the "Rox my Box" logo, then your in. You have sucessfully installed the x3.3294.
Now, go back to the Auto-Installer folder that you unRared on your computer. There should be a lone .iso image that is labeled "Auto-Installer.Deluxe.v2.11.FINAL". Burn that straight to a DVD. Put it in the CD tray of the xbox. If AID doesn't start automatically, then chose 'cold boot to dash', or similar from bios menu. This should load the DVD.
Once on, it should be easy to figure out from there, go to "install dashboards", "install C drive dashboards", and then whatever dash board you want. There is a whole list. For some reason Avalaunch would not install, so I chose Evo. The menu is really easy to figure out.
Let me know if you got it.

But I cant see anything so how can install aid. First I need to fix the region so it wont be black and white. Someone told me to press both triggers when booting the xbox but that doesnt work. So how will I fix this.

You still can't see anything? Even after you installed 3294? If you did install 3294 and you sure that it is correct then just follow the steps that I stated earlier. The steps that I listed were for x3.3294. If you have it installed, then follow exactly as stated to choose correct region.
You said that you can make out some stuff. List exactly what you are seeing on the bios menu. I just want to cross check and verify with what I've got, just to make sure that we are both on the same page.

When I start my xbox I get sound and the xbox symbol and on the bottom of it says rox my box. After that On the main menu I see settings, xbox live, memory, and music. It show the things you have on your xbox. Its wierd it has the same main menu as a unmodded xbox a normal one.

That is strange! It ought to boot the BIOS menu. This is surely beyond me. It is booting the MS dash. There has to be something wrong with the bios. Wait....What version xbox do you have?

I am sure that it is fixable. It seems to not like the bios. Are you sure that it is not a v1.6b? I mean, you verified that it was a v1.6 by checking online (not just by date)?

Im not sure. Should I flash a new Flashbios 3.0.1 If so do you know where I can get it. Or should I flash a cromwell 2.40 and set the banks to on on off off off.

Dude, you need to know what version you have. You will need to open your xbox (you should be a pro at this by now). Follow this:
www.xboxscene.net/versions_1.php
This will tell you what version you have.
You need to flash the bios again with the correct bios. AID has many, many bios'. Burn the right one to disc, start in backup, and flash again. If you have v1.6b then you will need to burn Evox-X M8-16 bios from the BIOS folder from the AID files you have.

You don't want a LEGAL bios because it won't do what you really want. Figure it out dude.
Be sure to have your banks set too.

I asked you pages ago to verify exactly what version of xbox you had then tell us exactly what bios you tried to flash your chip with. You should :
a)do as your asked if you want help or
b)get someone who knows what they are doing to help you

I'm leaning towards option b. after getting caught up on this thread.

Now you said that you flashed the bios with x3.3294. Where is that copy that you had or did is come flashed already?

when i first got it I had to flash it cause it was cromwell 2.40. And I flashed it with x3294 bios. It was a green screen with Xecuter logo. Ill try flashing the x3294 1.6 bios in backup with banks set to on on off off off and see what happens.

Yeah, just use the first one you had. If it worked before, it ought to work now. What dashboard did you have?

You've been through all of this before...

Ok it flashed. I get the rox by box when i startup but i still get the ms dash for some reason. Someone told me It's not possible to flash the x3294 in backup becasue backup is 256 and x3294 is 1mb. One more thing in aid i see the x3294 bios cd its a iso, but when i open it there is a bin and a a.dummy file that is 314mb should I try putting thise two on a cdrw and try to flash and see if it works.
