BENQ I keep failing to update

Hi all!, first of all, i'm happy that i found this awsome forum :) I got lots of information from here.
But I'm stuck.
My story:
I have xbox (fat), with Benq (VAD 6038) drive, it is flashed to LT 1.1. What i want, is to update it to the latest dashboard (that new look and stuff :) ), but i can't, at the very end of the update (ab. 95%) it gives me that error code: 3115-396b-1600-2203-c000-0001.
What i have done so far:
Tried to flash it to stock, update via cable and also via USB, with HDD and without HDD. Funny thing ab that flashing to stock, i did as *tutorial says, JF shows me that my drive is stock, but i can still play back-ups :) - think i made a mistake (i downloaded and used Benq_04421C-OFW). Also, the guy who flased this xbox, he sent me a zip file, it has some bin files in it. Key, dummy, Benq_CFW etc.

Ok, i see that my post is goint to be too long and messy, so, all i ask is how can i update to latest dash, because i would like to use XBL :)

Are those right steps: Flash to stock (that i did, but something is wrong, because i can still play backups)--->Update dash via XBox----->optional: Flash to LT 3.0 or keep it stock.

as the guy has gave you Key, dummy, Benq_CFW i would say that your drive has been spoofed.

load the dummy in jf and post a screen shot of jf.

your orig drive was prob a liteon.

Ok, silly question:
but, do i have to load it like here OR like here <-- i think this, but i'm just asking to be sure :)

Ok, that's a bad news. I have to buy new liteon drive? Oh, well, i quess i but my box back together and keep as it is for a moment.

Yeah spoofing is no longer supported. To be safe you will have to get a liteon drive. They're not that expensive at the minute. You have no choice anyway if you want to get on live.

Thank! Only one downside is, i'm an idot, lol, i was thinking that, i just buy new drive, replace it and will have fun :) But no, i need to flash my old dvd-key to the new one? As i read, it's quite complicated :( And do i get banned or flagged from XBL (if i just istall my old dvd-key, that my xbox's mobo will recognize the new drive).

Oh, and do i need some kind of 3rd party tools (for liteon to write my old key and maybe flash in the near future). As far as i have learned, liteon drives will need "fast swich on-swich of power", durning the flashing or durning the dvd-key writeing). So, looks like, i need something like this: CK3 Mini.

Ok. I got benq dvd key from guy who flashed (spoofed to liteon) my xbox drive. So, one step less to me :)

So you just need to load your desired stock lite-on firmware into JF (based on current dashboard version) and manually spoof with your DVD key. Then erase the lite-on and write the firmware to it.
