So I have a samsung drive flashed to LT 3.0 and I just updated it the other day when the new dashboard rolled out, and I was able to play after the update. Well I got on just now after 4 days of not playing it and I had another update on it and now I get the E66 error whenever I attempt to update. Does anybody know how to fix this?

sammys are strange, i find the best way to flash them is to load your desired fw, and manually spoof in just your key

Try flashing to stock before the update. This is something that shoukd always be done prior to updates.
Well I have played online after I updated it the first time, What I don't get is why it's not working on this update I'm getting now. I read on another site that it was safe to update it without reflashing it to stock
News just in, it's not the same update. Revert to stock and update will go through.

people are told over and over again FLASH BACK TO STOCK BEFORE UPDATING solves a lot of problems and stops a lot of problems,if people CBA doing that for the time it takes then expect grief

Another problem with samsung is that the plastic seems to break very easy after so many years. I had a few ones where the plastic inside the sata connector stuck in the sats cable and caused this problem, also had one that had a faulty sata cable and caused the same fault. They usualy work a while after flash but just start to fail after some time, so it might be worth checking it out.

swap the DVD drives out, power up and download the update (you will need your hard drive plugged in as well.)
once its done it's done!
Swap the drives back and enjoy playing on your updated version!
