I flashed my x3 with the x3 bios and installed avalaunch. Everything was working fine until i i tried to ftp evox and deleted avalaunch from my xbox c drive. Now when i boot my xbox with the chip enabled, it just goes straight to the xbox dashboard and not the x3 dash. I tried flashing the chip again using the power/open tray backup way and it still goes to the xbox live dash. What do i do to get my ava or evo dashboards back?

Yea the problem is the X3 menu doesnt come up, it's the xbl dashboard. When i reboot, all the color settings are still there and the led color setting is there, but the menu doesnt show. Ive tried re-flashing the x3 bios from every bank and still nothing. I know i didnt delete the default.xbe, but since its set to look for the ava.xbe and its not there it just goes to the xbl dash. Is there a way to FTP dashboards through the blue FlashBIOS screen?
Your bios is fine, you just don't have a dashboard installed, or your dash boot order is out of whack.
Hold the white button to boot to X3 Config Live
FTP your dash to your XB Hdd, if need be
Be sure that your dash boot priority order is the way you want it
Boot with chip enabled, and voila :lol:

That is heavenly, i thought i was done for. You guys in these forums own hard. I appreciate the patience with my nooby intel. 
Another Liteon 9345c DEAD
Hey guys,
In my previous posts i mentioned tht after successful mod of the drive the drive diesnt get dected in console... only the center light blinks... checked solder n resoldered stuff...still dead...
Now i took special care with this new drive of my friend... as advsd previously connected the drive to pc before doing anything... jugleflasher doesnt detect the drive... put the drive back in console n now the F#$%^& console doesnt detetc it eaither... check all connections n everything...still no success.. what went wrong this time... i could only narrow down on tht i connected the xcuter cable wrong side in drive first... soon corrected it... thts shoudlnt coz the prob, should it???

if you powered up the drive PCB with the power cord upside-down, you have officially fried the PCB
hopefully you have gotten the key off it and can spoof it to another lite-on PCB
