I need a little help with a dead XBOX

I have a 1.6 XBOX with the X3CE and pin-header installed (with PCB board). With the X3 on the pin-header, the XBOX does nothing when the power button is pressed. The 5V blue light on the X3 glows for 2 seconds then shuts off. The XBOX will boot normally if the X3 is not attached to the pin-header. I thought I narrowed it down to the 3.3V connection being the problem because I took out pin 15 and it booted normally when attached to the pin-header. But the chip won't work without the 3.3V connection. I've taken the PCB board off and just used wires and the same problem exists. Then I took all the wires off and re-checked my soldering and put the PCB board back on. I connected pin 9 to pin 15 hole to get that lovely 3.3V connection but the problem still exists.
I also checked the power/eject adapter board but nothing was wrong with it. With eveything unplugged from the X3 but still attached to the pin-header, it still won't power on.

If anybody has any suggestions, please, please, please help me. I've been going crazy trying to figure this thing out. Thank you in advance and I will thank you after...

Well I'm sure you've heard this before but ....

You need to have the two LED's lit on the X3 and the 'X' on the switch panel lit blue before you can rule out soldering faults - it's pretty much as simple as that.

Dont forget that on the 1.6's, you need to get a good strong solderpoint for the alternate 5v connection. Also if the 3.3 is giving you problems, apparently you can bridge to another point on the LPC - check tut's and thread's for that.

Thats all that can be wron, until you get the all three LED's lit as per above, I would say 99.9% it is the soldering, which with the LPC rebuild, is highly likely.
