i need help network flashing

I NEED SOMEONES HELP!!! I couldnt flash my 2.6 with a disk so i tried network flashing it. my network and router are fine. i go to enable network flashing. i get the ip address an enter http:// then the ip. i sit there for two hours and then it says cannot find server. tried it a million times and it wont work. HELP ME !!!!!
