Ok. I have 1.4v xbox with Xecuter 3, Xapt3r and pro switch with stock hard drive

I flashed X3 bios to chip no problem. I followed instructions on how to setup evolution X via ftp. Got it running ok. Picked up my box and took it to a friends house to show him. When I got there all it did was frag.

I took it apart and found that the Xapt3r was not connected very good. I tightened more and played with it till it wont move. Got the DO point back. And with everything connected right, it wont start. The X3 logo on the switch wont even go blue like it is at least trying to work. If i start the box off with the chip off. My xbox has that error as if my hard drive was unlocked and wont let me get into the MS Dashboard. So I cant start it up either way..IT cannot be solder points because I am using Xapt3r and it is all lit up now.

I dont know if this has anything to do with it, but on the 3 wires that connect the DO, HDD, and Lan activity lights to the X3 chip. I still have the DO soldered to the back of the board but I have it cut where it comes to the chip and its just hanging there. I havent desoldered it yet cause I dont think its touching anything or would have anything to do with it....Heck I taped it off on both ends and the board with electrical tape and it didnt help

What the hell do I do.....I am so very frustrated...especially since I was trying to show it off.

plz help me

1.make sure nothing on the xapt3r is loose or broken
2. make sure the d0, land and hdd are connected at both ends

you say you haven't desoldered it implying that you have a soldering iron so why didn't you solder the chip

The reason I havent soldered the chip on is because I ruined my first motherboard by using that iron so I wanted to do the solderless one. When I start up the box without the chip enabled it takes me to the screen where is says service is required. I think that is error 16 right? Weird letting is all over the screen except the very top line.

Anyways the dO wire from the Xapt3r is in the right hole. And the Xapt3r is light up all blue. So doesnt that mean I have a good connection. Could the dO hole gone bad? I will have a chance to mess with it more tonight. The thing was working perfect for like 4 or 5 hours. Then I pick it up and take it to a friends and now this..??? Frustrating. Thanks for help. If anyone can think of anything plz let me know.

you could try seeing if your pc can read the drive though i thought the x3 automatically unlocked the hard drive

Thats the problem with solderless installs. If you move the box around at all you will have a hell of a time getting it realigned. Keep playing with the Xapt3r and you will get it. After you have it lined up don't ever move your xbox. Either that or just solder it. What kind of iron do you have?

Is slim firmware moddable?

I've been out of the loop for a bit.

Is there any hacked firmwares for the new slim 360s?

Well thats what I assumed, but I've seen about 5 Youtube videos that claim to be modded.

Re: Is slim firmware moddable?

technically it is possible to extract the keys from the slim drive and spoof them to a "phat" lite-on

but no intelligent person would do this as it is an obvious ban and prohibitively expensive to do this multiple times

I like the fact that the guy who captured nessie on tape back in the day Admitted on his death bed that it was a hoax...lol
