I have a xbox 1.3 with xecuter 2.3 pro chip. And when i bought it, it had the evolution x dash and x2 4977 bios. Now for the first time i am planing to update the bios to x2 5035 bios. What is the best way of doing that?? i have bought a LPT cable to maby update it that way?? Should i put x2_5035 on every bank?? what is the best soulution?? i dont now nothing about this :p When i have updated the bios do i have to format my drive then? i have 6 partitions wich seems kind of stupid?? it was that way when i got it. i have c: e: f: x: y: and z: and it is a 120gb harddrive. The biggest partition is on f: where i put everything. After the bios update, how can i access the hdd? i have XMBC 10.30T3ch wich i want to use as my dashboard after the bios update, how do i do that?? is there a way to keep the information on f: and delete the other partitions to make only one extra partition?? help me please! :D

Since your box is already modded the easier thing might be to drop the FlashX app onto your box and then flash the BIOS through there. This will allow you to select exactly where the BIOS goes on the chip, making it easy to drop this on bank 2 if desired.

With the upgraded HDD you will need to make sure you set the BIOS to the matching LBA48 setting. I would say to try default first, if you can't see your F drive after that change to one of the other settings that include F. This will not hurt your HDD if have the wrong setting.

Since there is some question regarding the LBA48 setting, I would advise that you only flash one of your banks and leave a working bank intact. This way you still have the means to access everything on your box if the LBA48 setting needs tweaking.

Work on the BIOS flash first, then address the XBMC as a dash question. It should be pretty much covered in the XBMC readme (or other included text) anyway, all that you will need to do is set the BIOS x2config.ini file to load the appropriate XBE for the app.

Yes. One of the features of the 2.x PRO series is that they had a programmer port built in. I think you'll need a DB25 extension cable and the X2 BIOS Manager software that is available in the downloads section. You can probably find more details if you look in the 2.x PRO forums in the discontinued products section.
