I need help

This might not belong here but i'm stumped and need help. My xbox is freezing during X3CL and after reading tons of forums the only option i have is to reflash my xbox eeprom. Here's the problem. I have the possible "corrupt" eeprom and woudl like to know if i can fix that eeprom. Or if someone has a V1.0 eeprom I can have. Somepne Please help..>!!!!

What is it that makes you think you have a bad eeprom?

When does it freeze? As soon as it loads CL, or as you try to change settings? What have you changed recently if anything...

Here are a few good questions,

Have you updated your Bios lately?

Have you downloaded ANY skins? (Lately, and then ever)

Have you tried your other Bios bank? (You have TWO 1 MB bios banks)

How long have you had your box running modded?

brand new X3 just flashed bios 3108, freezes when i go to make a change in X3CL live. Tried older bios same result, tried booting to backup bios (flashbios) same thing. When I boot off a cd it loads then restarts.

You really need to be more specific, eg "when I press blahblah".

If it locks up when you try to change your IP, try going into X3 Skins and set it to default even if its already on default. Then you should be able to make changes without locking up.

If that doesn't help add more info.

Sorry here's more detail.
I turn on the xbox it boots fine i see the roks my box icon then it automatically boots into X3CL. When i go to change the IP it freezes, when i go to select another option like any of the X3 info (i.e. bios info, xbox info) it freezes.

Select x3cl skin -> default then reboot even if it appears to already be selected.

Have you gone back as far as 1959. I believe that this version did not incorporate skin in X3CL and so shouldn't be a problem. Can't hurt to try

I tried that with the same result.
Does anyone have a v1.0 eeprom i could have to try that out. This is my only option now that i can thin of.
