I am so retarded i logged on to xbox live with my x3 on. Now I cant logg on to xbox at all. Some body please help Halo 2 comes out in a few days and I got to get in on the live action. I am also having trouble installing my dashboard I cannot log into my xbox I am using acrossover cable connecting my pc to my xbox and i have a wireless router and wireless card.

if you truely logged on with your chip on, then you are SOL. MS has permanently banned your XBOX from XBLive. Prolly time for a new XB...
thanks for the info can I still use my mod chip on another xbox or should I finish installing the dash board on this one and get another one for xbox live purposes. also can u tell me what im doing wrong when I try to ftp to my xbox. the program im using is flashfxp I hook my xbox up to my pc with a crossover cable. then I go to site maneger and click on new site I enter the isp I got from net. settings on the xboxs dash as far as the other info like user name, password, remote path and local path im lost so I leave this blank and try to connect and it fails every time. any ideas?
I too am having issues connecting via crossover cable. Ive tried 3-5 different guides telling me different settings. No joy. Ive got one more to try after i get off work before i go out and just buy a router to do it.
There shouldnt be any problem using your chip in another XB since the only thing on the chip is the BIOS (s).

You really should look and read through most of these forums as i have. Although this is my first mod and im having some trouble, i am not ready to ask for help quite yet because there are alot of threads that told me to try different things. You can start with these 2 guides and see if they help.

They will just steal your money and your 360
Best way and ONLY way to get back on xbox live is to buy a new 360.
and if you dont want to get banned again dont mod it and just keep your other 360 for modded games and use legit copies for the few games you probably actually play online.

i seen some crazy method on a site the other day! u need an rrod old unbanned console and it involved alot of work! if it was me i would just buy a rrod console and repair then use tht! don't go wasting your money wen you don't need to!

Like the dude said in the add there is a way to "unban" your console by changing serial data in the CPU but does not mean it will be a matter of time before your banned again if there are duplicate serials out there.

Remember if you had it flashed & used Live... your console is already FLAGGED for being Banned soon.
They ban ANY MODIFIED XBOX's as long if it went ONLINE, if it never went online after flashing the Drive... then DO NOT GO ONLINE, untill LT comes out.... wait 3 Weeks see the response... then afterwards flash it with LT & THEN you may go online... hopefully not getting banned.malice312 said:

Thats right it is possible for older dash consoles but you will need a legit console of the same mobo to do it . So this would make it pointless as you using one good xbox to save a bad oneshawlynot said:
