I NEED SOME MAJOR HELP, IVE INSTALLED THE X3 MODCHIP SUCESSFULLY BUT HAD NO LUCK FINDING NE BIOS, I TRIED TO EVEN INSTALL THE X2 BIOS ON THE X3 MODCHIP STILL NO LUCK, WHEN I GAVE UP I DISABLE THE CHIP BY HOLDING THE POWER BUTTON FOR A SPLIT SECOND IT WORKED, RED LIGHT WAS ON BUT WHEN I TRIED TO PLAY A NE GAME NO BOOT WHATSOEVER, I WENT TO THE EXTREME AND TOOK THE CHIP OUT( ONLY THE X3 MODCHIP, EVERYTHING ELSE WAS STILL INTACT), I PUT A GAME ON AND ALL I GOT WAS A BLANK BLACK SCREEN, THERE WAS NO LOGO OR NOTHING. I NEED SOME HELP!!! IT SEEMS LIKE IVE WASTED MONEY BUYING THE CHIP AND ALSO ON TOP OF THAT, MY XBOX CANT GO BACK TO ITS ORIGINAL STATE, IM STUCK LIKE CHUCK,,, NE ONE OUT THERE HAS ANY IDEAS?????

you know only because you used all caps is the reason i'm only going to partially help. go to xbox-scene and then tutorials look for the "guide to using #xbins" come back later when you fix your caps lock problem.
Force Unleashed 2 STRANGE PROBLEM?
Hi,
Heres whats happening, I have burned 2 copys of SWTFU2 and Both install to a 100%.
So heres the strange part when im playing i keep getting an unreadable disc error ?.
I thought once you installed an xbox game that was it as long as the game was in their for the diskcheck, no?
Any ideas would be appreciated Regards,

Have you updated to new beta of Kinect dashboard? This is new kind of protection. It prevents booting new games. Check if you can boot older backups.

No I have'nt updated to kinect just yet but theres a BETA floating around so...this [rotection thing would have been sorted by then, Any other suggestions?...a bad rip perhaps?

Nope, definitely not a bad rip. It is confirmed by C4E that there is new copy protection. Try using Xval to see if your console was flagged - if yes, app will show message like "failed AP25 challenge". If not, you're lucky ("sec data is clean" message)
You do not need to have new dashboard to be affected by new anti-piracy protection. Did you connected to Xbox Live past last week? Looks like dashboard updates its protection to new without prompting any message.
Try patch the game to wave3 and see if it works.

Download and run Xval 2.0 app. Turn on your X360 and go to system information. Type your console serial number and X value (in right-bootom of the xbox system info. screen). Click decrypt. If Xval will show "sec data is clean" message - your console is not flagged. If it show something else you can start to worry.

Strange. Maybe files are hidden? Try to swich-off "hide files" option in Windows. I also have Win7 and my XVal extracts and works fine.

turn off Anti-Virus first! Its probably reporting a false positive and deleting the file upon unzip!

I removed AV & it worked "SecData clean"
So i managed to get another ISO, buned it...Same problem.. "Disc unreadable (Dirty disc etc)" This is REALLY P***ing me off...4disc later same problem persists,but thedifferent 4 i have burned in the meantime NO PROBLEMS WHAT SO EVER... Anybody have a solution?
P.S i replaced me old dvd drive with the same make/model transferred keys etc. should i check the drives "Pot" as it was bought from Ebay..?
