I need to replace my Cromwell Bios

Here is what i did i found this old bios that i had and i used http to put the bios on my Xecuter 2.6 ce chip and the xbox is a 1.6 and after the xbox loaded the bios it shutdown so then i start the xbox back up and now it flashs red and green by the way it restarts itself three times before it goes to red and green flashing.

You've got a FRAG, probably due to a bad flash or incorrectly flashing the chip. What was this "old BIOS" you have that you tried to put on your chip? Can you still boot FlashBIOS from the other bank?

When you recover I would advise you use the new X2CL 5035 BIOS. It is the latest Xecuter BIOS and 1.6 compatible.

i cant get to my flashbios screen because i forgot that my switch was set to bank 1 and bank 2 as far as i can see is blank so i dont know what to do but order anyother chip can you help

When i boot from bank 2 the screen it black and there is a solid yellow light on my xbox

make sure you're using stock video cables that came with the box, then try booting from bank 2 again

what size bios did you flash to the chip?

if it was 1mb then you'll need to get a programmer or to do a hotswap

the file is 512k so i think bank 2 is still blank because when i boot to it all i get it a black screen and a yellow light. I have readed about hotswap but could you remind me what it is again.

I finally got the programmer i needed now i just cant find the right Bios does anyone have any ideas

Don't know where you are looking, but the BIOS definately is available on xbins. Check out the link in my sig.
