I so want the X3CP

I'll pay almost anything for the X3CP w/ LCD w/ IR receiver thingy. And if it has USB ports that I can actually use for something (like an external HD or a keyboard), that would rock.

When is this thing going to be available?

when it's first released it will be released without the IR reciever, however you can order one and install it to the cp yourself cheaply, and there is a spot in the cp for the ir modual
the reason it won't be in the first release is mainly because it's something not everyone will want, and wouldn't wanna pay the money for

any idea what the cost is going to be? I think i read $69 but the lcd screen is $45 and the pro swith is $20, so $69 does not seem correct.

i'm pretty sure i read sumwhere the cp was gonna be somewhere around 60 USD but i'm not totally sure and i saw that awhile ago.

My question is the $60 for the pair (XLCD and CP) or just for the CP itself?

the lcd is part of the control panel.... you can buy an lcd buy itself and attempt to mount it or buy the control panel that is the whole new front end and includes an lcd already installed in it.
