I think a simple question

I have a 360 slim 4gb with a Corona board. I already modded and added a 320gb hard drive. If all I want to do is to be able to put and play games, offline, on the internal or external hard drive, what do I need to do. I am donating the Xbox to an afterschool program. I dont want to have to use discs, as they get scratched and end up being no good, especially in an afterschool program setting. I have 2 xbox's I am goint to do this with, so I would like the ability to connect 2 together with a switch and maybe have halo battles, etc, but they will never be online, or have live accounts, they will mostly be for offline, single player games.

What do I need to do. I am very comfortable around electronics, soldering, etc. I have the J-R programmer V-2, new, still in the box. I don't care about custom dashboards, etc, just the easiest way to select a game off of the hard drive and play it.

Thank's in advance.

Martins RGH road map will not help as he already knows and has RGH consoles. Go here for more info

You will get more help there.

I guess what I am really asking, of all the possible hacks/mods available, which one(s) do I need to focus on to be able to do the one thing I posted about. Playing games, without the disc's, from hard drive, or external hard drive. For the record, I am sure some of these games will be "acquired" from various sources :)

you will need RGH for a corona, there are lots of glitch chips you can use, so look into those and find a guide for whatever you pick. then to set up the software side, you can just stick with the regular NXE dashboard, and use xexmenu as a file explorer, or you can install FSD or the newer Aurora. all of those can be looked up easily. also for the record, piracy is not supported here, so let's assume you mean you "acquired" them through legal means.

Can anyone suggest what I should buy to accomplish the above tasks. I have a brand new J-R Programmer V2 already. I know I should search, and I have, thoroughly. I have 2 xbox's I want to do this with, one is an older phat model, and one is a 360 slim 4gb made in 2011. Is there something that I can buy that will work on both. Is the J-R Programmer all I will need, as on the product page, there are several add-on's mentioned. Do I also need for example a X360 USB Pro. Will I need to flash my DVD firmware to accomplish above tasks? I have the 4GB slim that I used HDDHacker and added a 250GB hard drive. Do I also need the 4GB R/W kit in addition to the J-R Programmer.

I am searching and reading all I can, as I am not lazy and want to be well informed, there is really just a lot of things out there, with a lot of initials and acronyms, etc.

Also one last thing, as I have read this all over the place, and even google'd it. What in the world are the initial's CB standing for when talking about dashboards, etc.

Thank you in advance.

Yes I do mean acquired legally. I am donating this to an afterschool program. The discs get scratched easily with young ones playing them so I want to combine my collection and theirs and have them all accessible from either an internal or external HDD.
