Corona v3/5 16mb NAND w/250gb harddrive LiteOn DG-16D5s

From reading it seems this box is pain to mod, but that aside seeing the CK4 is on the horizon should I just wait it out and then buy? I'm also thinking it might be cheaper just to buy a pre-modded box.

Leads me to another question.

with the CK4 will i still need the unlocked dvd drive board? My end game is to play backups from either HD or external HD.

Yea any glitch chip will allow that. Equipment you'll need - a glitch chip (cr4/proto etc), post fix adapter, jr programmer (or nand-x), soldering equipment.

The unlocked pcb will be optional as your only looking to play your backups from HDD so once glitched you can put your originals in and transfer to HDD that way and save on the pcb.

If however you want to use xbox live as well you'll need to dual nand with a demon and flash the pcb.

Watch/read tutorials and if it looks like something you can do then have a go but if it's a bit daunting post an advert and im sure someone will sort you out.
