I tried to install a x2.6 in a new 1.6 box.....so close to finished but no sound and couldn;t figure out why. So I gave up on that and ordered a premod with x3 now the chip won't flash. I'm starting to think I was't meant to have it, so close, but nothing.
So if anyone can fix these let me know. Cause I'm about to smash em with a sledge.

man that sucks im having troubles flashing the x3 bios on my chip too but i managed to get the m8+_16 bios working, any ways ill buy your pre mod of ya

also wat cds are you using because some boxes are picky on wat cds they want to read

FTP or HTTP flash is much simpler if you can hook up your X-box to your PC

Well, can't help you much if you don't give us some sort of info. If you can give us detailed info on what you did during your attempt to flash, what happened, etc then perhaps we can help you get your system going. Otherwise, I sympathize but, hell, if you won't help us by giving us info, then it's your problem (sorry to be blunt)

Ok The premod I think is ver 1.0-1.2 it's older. I have the x3. I started it up got the flash bios menu. I linked to my cpu turned banks on on off off off, http flashed with the newest x3 bios. It went fine, I started it back up and it loaded the roc my box. I figured x3 was like x2 and you put the dash in by renaming the xboxdash.xbe but then I found out I should have left it evoxdash.xbe. but for some reason changing the xboxdash.xbe made it frag in every way. I starts when chip is disabled but I get the error message for wrong dash since I changed it with evox

I backed up the xboxdash.xbe, are the files diffrent on an 1.6 xbox?
