Please help.

This is my first time ever doing this so I am a complete newbie. I thought I was doing well. Fitted my mod chip with minimal problems X3 CE and was ready to flash the BIOS.

Downloaded several versions of evoX and could not get one to write to a CD+R, DVD+r, CD-R or DVD-R. So decided to hook up the Xbox to my network and flash it that way.

Found the .bin file in the evolutionx_beta_v1.8.3285. (as instructed in the tutorial) and put it on that way.

Everything looked good as it flashed the biosin front of me and it shut down the xbox as it said it was going to do on my PC. Had to restart it manually and when I did the xbox switched itself off then back on again then the eject button started flashing red and green.

I can get back to the std dashboard but how do I fix this???

All help most appreciated!!

Standard dashboard? Don't put any sh*tty evox bios on an x3 chip. Did you flash a dash to a bios bank?

Standard dashboard, meant to say original Microsoft startup screen.

I realise now that I f^cked up big style and by the looks of it put a really old bios version onto a new chip. I definately flashed a BIOS just a really old one by the looks of it.

All I am looking for is a way to undo what I have done to I can do it properly with the proper BIOS.:(

Thanks for the help.

Got back in contact with the folk I bought it off and asked them for help and they said I should of had a back up BIOS on the chip but seems as though I didn't so chip cannot be rescued so they are going to re flash it for me.....phew!

On another note so I don't d**k this up again when I get it back what should be the BIOS I use for the X3 CE and the best method for getting it up and running.

Will have a look at that dashboard cheers.
