FIXED I tihnk I`m banned ?

I just spent a few hours installing my demon . foolishly I didnt test my console before putting the demon in . I bought it reasonably new its a jasper small block . I`ve never had it online and the last user said she didn't either . However , I`ve just installed the demon I`ve got a rebuilt stock nand (from j-runner as i lost the orig I had to make a new one and I used the kv from the original console and the smc from a donor) . The console works fine , glitches using the demon nand and boots to 13599 stock nand no probs . tried installing a later dash via jrunner , wont have it , wont let me update and via the console and gives me xxx-xxx-xxx-c000-0099 So thats seems to me i`m banned . Can someone confirm that and also confirm there`s naff all i can do about it .

There was a post on here a bit ago about how to work out what the error codes mean using a hex converter but i cant find it now

This error occurs if your console has been tampered with or modified. Your console has been banned from Xbox LIVE and can no longer connect to Xbox LIVE, install software updates, or play new games that require a console software update. Learn about Xbox LIVE console bans.

Note Xbox Support cannot undo an Xbox LIVE suspension for a console.

Cool ...thanks i`ll try and find it . According to the microsoft site xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-c000-0099 means its banned but that doesnt really make sense unless the woman that sold it too me fed me a load of bull . Its mighty frustrating , the install didnt exactly go to plan ..lol (had to rebuild)

I think she fed you a load of bull mate , as it states on xbox.com that any console with that error code is banned.

yeah thats pretty much what i figured (i did see the xbox.com page) . goddammit . oh well i`ll have to strip the demon out and get an unbanned console .

I think if he writes a different KV he will be banned again instantly. The KV thing doesn't work to well anymore.

if he was to write a new kv to onboard nand and demon nand he should be fine but trying to get new jasper sb kv would be difficult but he should try requesting for one in the traders section

You cannot write different KV on Type 2, because they are Hash checked.

I believe small block jaspers are Type 2

You would have to check the nand dump to make sure.

All you'll get is xmas lights on the ROL

What do you mean.

If he had a Type 1, he could easily change the CPU key and everything with a donor nand. Unbanning the console

Not possible on Type 2

Its ok guys ....panic over .! ....when i bought the console it was on pre 134xxx dash .

I then glitched it and cracked on for a bit with no hassle .

I decided to put a demon in because i wanted to use netflix and live so had to put a retail nand back on the console . So i did that but i upgraded it inadvertently to 13599 .

There within laid the problem . the drive in this is a LITEON !! . therefore because i had updated the dash it was expecting the 0251 frmware , but it had the 83850 .....so i`ve just flashed it with stock 0251 firmware and bingo no longer banned !!!

That's why when you posted the error code you should have Included it all rather than xxxx-xxxx on the first 2 sections. That was my first impression right now as I was reading the thread.
