Okay so no I cannot provide you with the information that is required, because I don't know how...yet...

I had this Xbox 360 for 10 years bought it with jtag or rgh, I cannot open up the xbox because the screws are all stripped out some how so I cannot find out any of the information that requires me to open it.
Anyhow everything worked fine, I was able to play games from discs I burned from my computer until one day I decided to be an idiot and update the console from an update from Xbox official site.
I was able to update, but then I can no longer read burned discs. I tried to research this, tried installing XexMenu and I couldn't open that on the console.
I really don't even know if this issue can fixed.

Please lead me in the right direction if you can, I will try my best to provide you with all the information you need, but please bare with me.
I am not as experienced as any of you, I am quite clueless actually but I can figure things out as I go along. I just want to get this Xbox working again.

The Xbox is running dashboard 16203

P.S. if you can help me figure out a way to open it, it would be greatly appreciated.

It sounds like you had your DVD drive flashed and the Microsoft update has flashed your DVD drive back to stock. The only way to fix it is to flash your drive again.
If the screws are stripped you are going to have to get pliers on them or something to remove them.

Without knowing which hack you were using to begin with, it is hard to say how to fix the problem. If the console was a jtag or RGH1, you burned the cb fuses in the cpu, which will require you to switch to RGH1.2. If the console was RGH2, then you should just be able to go through the nand/ecc process, and get the RGH mod back. All of this is going to require hardware you probably dont have already. Unfortunatly, without more information, I cant really say more.

I had to saw the screws so I can fit a part of a flat head in there, eventually I was able to open up the console. What am I looking for here?
Frim what I understand I think it's the Falcon motherboard.

There is no evidence there to say it's been jtagged or rgh.
I'm guessing the dvd drive will have been flashed only.
If u were on an old dashboard and updated then it sounds exactly what Lizardpcs is saying.

Yeah I had a feeling as I couldn't find anything. I now understand that they are two different things.
Would I still be able to flash my dvd drive regardless of the current dashboard version?

If u have the flashing equipment or know someone who can flash it. Then yes it is possible.
