i want to install apps

i have just flashed my xbox with the 1959 bios and i have gotten to the x3 config live screen. i flashed via disc beacuase somehow i cant flash via http. how do i now go about installing apps and all the other goodies you can get form xbins so i can unleash the awesome power of my newly modded xbox?

if you can't HTTP then you probly can't FTP so you might wanna grab the torrent file from xbins for auto installer 3 which has all the apps emultors replacement dashboards for you to pick from and do some research into networking for the xbox ...you may also wanna grab the latest bios from xbins for your chip which is the 3294 bios

your useing an old x3 bios x3 3294 is the latest
you can ftp a dash and apps to your e/ folder then put setting in x3 bios so it boots dash
or
use a auto install like Auto installer deluxe 3.0.4 or slayer to install dash and apps emu,s(much easyer)

download AID3 then burn to dvd-r then put in xbox then install dash
then settup x3config to boot dash

you dont format dvd just unrar then burn iso image file all readme file are in download

ok i did all that and it did not play in the xbox. then i read another forom and realized i was using dvd+r. so now im going to get a dvd-r and see if that works. i also burned the file as an iso by quix, then burned with nero to dvd.
so other than the wrong type of dvd did i do everyother thing right?

are you burning the image file or the bittorrent

download torrent from site
use a bit torrent software to download hole AID3 file (bitlord or bittorrent)
once done unrar to find 7 files
read the read mes
burn the image file(iso)thats allready there as in readme file to a cd-rw or dvd-r
place in xbox
use to install dash you wish to run as well as apps
reboot
set settings in x3config
done

i burned the image file! i used quix and it converted it to an i mage file! then i clicked on the image file and it went to nero and i burned it to dvd-r but it didnt work! could it be some3thing i didnt put on the parameters in nero for the burning process( ie speed or finalizing?)

if you download it from xbins your only got the bit torrent you now need a app called bitlord or bittorrent once you have that installed on your pc then d/click on the file from xbins it will download AID3
once downloaded
READ THE README FILE THAT COME WITH IT ON HOWTOO BURN IT AND USE IT

I personally have d/led, burned, and used DJB's AID. Once you have the .torrent file, open it in your client (i.e. uTorrent, BitComet). After the file completes downloading you'll have a set of 25 .rar files, extract them with a decompression util. (i.e. ExtractNow, WinRAR). Next, open the folder extracted, inside should be some folders, PDF manuals, a folder with recent BIOS files, and a disk image (.ISO). The disk image is about 485MB in size.
Open Nero and burn the .ISO at a slow speed. I can't remember what I used for media (might have been a CD-R or CD-RW) but I'm sure the brand was Memorex.

Note: On the "Comments" tab of the site above there is a direct link to the files (it'll be faster than using Bittorrent).

Also, if you're looking for the latest program versions search "Auto Installer Deluxe" on mininova.org (<same site as above) and download the update pack 3.04 (using a bittorrent client) and patch the .ISO with it.

do you have a front panel with usb ports? if so how do you connect the usb ports to the xbox? either they didnt send me on with mine or i lost it?
