I'm getting the error message on my Xbox in numerous different languages. What is a novice supposed to do? Is there anything that can be done? Too close to Madden 06 for this foolishness....

Ow ow, I say it's error 25
*Error 25: You've been screwed by microsoft now what are you going to do?
Naw seriously I just had a Xbox in this week and gave the error screen with no error #, I sat there dumb founded and rebooted it agian same thing.
Opened it, again rebooted it and I heard the WD cliking of Death. Sure enough it was a dead HDD with no error code go figure.

THERE IS NO ERROR CODE.. IT JUST SAYS "YOUR XBOX REQUIRES SERVICE. PLEASE CALL XBOX CUSTOMER SUPPORT". IT SAYS THIS IN SIX BEAUTIFUL LANGUAGES
The number is in the corner...

If that's so, do like mmicrosysm did. Open her up and see if you can find a problem.Apocolypse said:

no mod chip installed. i opened it up to clean it like llama said because i kept getting "dirty disc" errors. after i put it back together, i turned it on- only to get xmas lights and that message. and, no, i didn't get a number in the upper left corner...
