Just made glinch for Jasper (Elite). And faced with this problem. When I turn on console coolrunner lights once green and the console will not boot, and more green light does not blink. From the second or third time the console launches. Such start-ups about 30%! It was on other consoles, but 1-3 times of 50-100 launches. But there are too many of these start-ups. Any help?

could be down to bad soldering position of the wires or damage to any of the wires little nicks from the iron or severely squashed when mobo screwed down things like that have caused me simular errors in the past....

Try repositioning the wires. I have had this exact problem on a 16mb jasper today. Couldn't get it to boot so i tried soldering the cpu_rst (blue) wire on the tob of the board so i didn't keep having to take the mobo out to fiddle and now it boots straight away :)

Sorry but I don't understand what you to do exactly :) But I replaced blue wire (I take a little longer about 1-3 cm). Now it boot more better but little longer

Yip it comes down to soldering and also the routing of your wires, Glad it boots better. Have you tried putting a 68nf cap on

Yes, the capacitor is soldered. Already 4 hours only what I do, that turn on and off conosle :) I noticed the following. After the to pull off cable cord, this having trouble starting. But when the console is in standby mode (with inserted power cord), no such problems!

Of course)) Everything works fine. However, as I said, sometimes there are idle launches. Especially in Jasper 16GB which I did today (it has already set up to 5 consoles, and everything was more or less normal)

What i did was instead of running the CPU_RST along the bottom, i found the point on the top of the board. soldered to that and routed the wire along the top. Made a massive difference with boot times and the freeze problems i had

The spot you need is where i have marked in red and i routed the wire like the yellow line. I also shortened the wire so it was just long enough, not sure if that had anything to do with it :)

Which pad did you solder to on that area?

First I did that also on the top on a Jasper Elite(I used an 68nF cap). And the Boottime was very long.

So after that I solder the blue wire on the bottom and it booted at the first flash on the coolrunner.

Every Jasper MOBO is different then another Jasper MOBO. This means also for the other MOBO's. :)
