ihas 224 model b help please

i keep getting a write flash error,
updated my bios and everything bios are set to raid
seen something about that you have to set to ide mode
but if i do that it wont boot and locks up at the gateway screen,so what do i have to do? its plugged in the pc desktop been at this for the last 2 days just flashed my 360 to 3.0 and i just ordered some verbatims 50 pack
kinda feeling like i wasted some money if it wont flash correctly please help me :)

You could buy an x360 USB pro. That will fix any issues

i installed the ihas224-b internally...backedup with eeprom..read flash with flash utility..opened up the GL0A file to update...said already updated but went ahead and updated..rebooted computer...loaded up write flash to iHAS-224-GL0A-MKM001MKM003-fi*nal...gets 2 bars in then says error writing to flash drive....????..any ideas appreciated.
i updated the file to GL0B just to remind you guys new fw..like it says above
all i did id did do this correctly right.

Method I can think of is request a local pro to flash for you. If you request here I'm sure somebody will offer assistance

You should have used GL0A firmware, Burner Max has not been updated to support the latest firmware.

You could crossflash your drive to a 624 with GL29 firmware, or you could try to downgrade your drive using this firmware, after that flash the GL0A fw.

Of course you could also wait for Burner Max to support the GL0B fw.

NOTE: Crossflashing may or may not cause issues, for some it works fine for others it doesn't.
