GENERAL iHAS 324-98 B not flashing right???

Thank you for any and all help provided,

I don't think my lite on ihas324 B flashed correct and this is why, everything went smoothly no issues at all, well i made a back up of my skyrim which i used 2.4x speed to burn and set the write options To calculate optima and proceeded to burn as soon as it finished with no problems, i tried the game and it boot up fine, it passed the beseda logo but as soon as it showed the skyrim symbol with a black screen it just stood there loading forever so what went wrong. @ other games start but then I get disc errors while playing so I started to look at the max burn tutorial and online videos and I believe I did it well, the only thing I don't see on the vids or tut is if after flashing the drive is the drive suppose to show the size of the media in it or not? mine doesn't and I think that is the problem?

If you put a DL disc in IMGburn it should show the increased media size, if not it will offer to truncate the disc and you will know it did not flash correctly, remember all discs should be quality checked with kprobe 2 as a badly written disc gives the symptoms you describe.

I didn't know about kprobe 2 will get it asap. But also imgburn doesn't give me the "truncate" option with the iHAS drive it just burns all the way through but imgburn DOES however give me that "truncate" option with my regular dvd drive and I got skyrim to burn properly(played it for a few hours)I am using memorex DVD.

One other thing is if burning at 2.4 the recomendation is also turn off the OPC as well as clear OPC history etc.

Of course with the best advice of all is the verbatum discs (singapore)

It seems that with the Disc trunicating he did not flash the drive correctly, when you put a DVD-DL in the drive and goto my computer you should see and change in the amount of memory available on the disc, then use imgburn, not all of us go out an buy the game when we got gamefly or blockbuster to rent'em...not everyone can afford multiple $60 games bills and all the other necessities...
