IHas 424-98B GL1B

I just Got my Ihas 424-98B GL1B today and I'm trying to load the Ixtreme FW for it.

I notice the firmware update is for a GL1A and I cannot run the app to update. Is there anyway around this ?

Also, My PC recognizes the drive as The Ihas 4242B in the Device manager But when I look at the properties of the DVD rom it says "DVD-RAM DRIVE" and does not show up as an Ihas or CD/DVD -RW. I'm not sure if the matters or not.

I just need help getting the Ixtreme Burnermax Firmware on this GL1B. Detailed Steps would be greatly apprieciated!!

I believe you can use the x360 pro and flash to the GL1A. Just make sure you use the right baseline model file.

Some guys using the sata ports on their pc run into errors but I hear using the x360pro works.

I had the same problem with 2 of mine. i had to follow steps for crossflashing and used the GL1A for what drive it was .

Yes, I found a nice, easy to follow tut on how to crossflash. It worked perfectly.:biggrin:
