Remove the Video Card is go back to your old setup. Remove the card drivers. You can try rolling back your windows using "system restore" so you can go back to a windows configuration prior to installing the video card. Unfortunately once you find a good setup you should leave it alone. I have to use 2 PC's. One is for flashing and the other one for burning. The one that is for flashing cannot complete a stupid burn properly, and the one that is for burning won't ever recognize the xbox360 drives. Oh well.

What kind of errors?. Also take a good burnt disc, Run it through Kprobe on SATA 1, Then SATA 2, Then 3 etc.., Rinse and repeat till you find which port was working for you. Using a different SATA port really wouldn't make any difference. Your new video card would not have any effect on your SATA ports. Like MartinC said check to see if any of the configurations got changed, But you'd know if they did, You'd would've have to change them yourself. Maybe bad discs, Or drive.

I want to know why you've gone through so many discs and not once retrieved any error codes. If you've been having good burns up til now, I would have stopped at 1 or 2.

Changing sata ports could have well made difference to his setup IF the ports are on another controller (usually a different color of ports).
