GENERAL iHAS info/help please guys

hi guys,
i need a bit of input regarding the 0800 firmware for creating back ups.
i just got myself a iHAS 524 B pre-flashed. but what i need to know is can i flash this drive with the lite on 0800 firmware so i can get back to backing up my games.
sorry if its a easy fix but i`ve been away for a while. i`ve had a look for some pointers but can`t seem to find the answers

No. The 0800 firmware is for Phat Lite-ons and benq's

The IHAS stays as a burner.
The Xbox drive is the ripper

ok cheers Goldensavage, does it really matter what xbox drive i use? i`ve got a spare benq knocking around would that do the trick?

only the liteon and benq can be used with LT-0800-v3 flash for ripping originals
