IHAS Question

Can I use a SATA to IDE adapter to hook the IHAS drive to my PC? I have read SATA ports are fine as well as SATA to USB and USB360 Pro but I haven't seen anyone mention SATA to IDE adapters. I am assuming it would be fine as all the other methods are ok? I have read all the posts I can find about IHAS burners for the answer to this question but haven't found a definite answer... sorry if I have simply over looked it.

I wouldn't know but only one way to find out unless u think it will cause some physical damage to your drive

I don't think it would hurt the drive. I just didn't know if there was anything special about the xdg3 extended burn that would require a certain connection setup?? I can just give it a try i guess I was just trying to save myself a DVD in case the connection setup would cause the burn to fail??
