:facepalm:eek:k so i purchased the ihas424b and ihas124b..gone through many video tutorials and read on how to properly flash the T and im still having probs flashing my drive to the mkm001-003bin..i backup eeprom..save file..select read flash, save file..my 124b currently installed already has the updated fw ALOS..with both drives, and ive tried this with both my internal sata ports, everytime i try and write flash to the mkm001-003bin it gets two bars in and says write flash failed...there has to be a setting or something that needs to be changed on my computer...like i said ive use 2 ihas burners, and both sata ports..im not crossflashing im just trying to flash to the burnermax..i have no idea whats wrong..any help appreciated..

Your are probably working on a 64-bit system. If so, that's probably the problem. Try with a windows 32 bit.

I forgot to mention. The tricky part of the 64-but systems is that they seem to be working properly. Like I said, I had the same problem. The weird thing is that you can actually dump the firmware with no problems. But once you want to flash the burnermax firmware is when that error message appears.

Read my post above in case you haven't.

Thanx and let us know how it goes

Insidious little issue but thanks for pointing it out - a lot of folks wouldn't even guess this was the problem. This really needs to get fixed; 64 is supposed to be the future and all.

i appreciate the info...you are the first person whos said anything about a 64bit system having issues..thats what i have of course..anyways i just got a friend to flash it for me so im good on the flashing..my new prob is tht i get an I/O error when my disc starts to verify the game..using setting calc optimal, turned i/o to 512mb instead of 40mb(tried both) and im using verbatim 8x(003) which is supposed to be the best one to use when burning...burning at 4x speeds and keep getting the error halfway thru the verification process I/O error...frustrating..
