GENERAL iHas124 burns well fails to verify but perfect kprobe result

Hi guys, i have just built a new pc and started having problems with my flashed iHas124.

It burns discs 100% but doesnt verify them keeps giving messages about unreadable data, the disc plays and installs on the xbox fine.

when analysed by kprobe shows perfect results with max PI around 70 and MAX PIF at around 4

OPC enabled and EEprom used to clear before every burn. I have also notices after burning around 4 titles that it works best with Smart Burn Disabled.

I am using MK003 Taiwan which have been faultless so far but since the new pc it has been doing this constantly.

do you think this could be AHCI related?

Same here with same burner.
About 1 out of 3/4 give verify errors at 50 % (verbatim mm003)

Haven't tried these burns on my xbox though. Just burned them again.
Only did 8 or so till now. Looks like the first 2/3 burns go correctly.

Well, seems lt3 will make it neccesary to reburn them again.......
Would be nice to see a firmware that doens't look at 2.5 tables, etc.
Don't care for offline, have a banned box from the 1st ban wave.

i would have thought as long as kprobe is giving you good results then everything should be ok. as uber said here:

"The fact that the burn verifies at 100% is irrelevant when you are testing the quality through KProbe2 so you may want to not waste your time doing that extra step. It doesn't hurt of course - but if you are running a full Kprobe scan its going to give you your correct verify results anyway regardless of what imgburn tells you."

im new to this myself lads so the fact yours only got to 50% in imgburn might mean something, but as stated above, as long as kprobe is giving you good results then you should be fine. please correct me if im wrong anyone.

thanks guys, just thought id ask as with burner max you get so many varied results its hard to tell whats right or not. and as i said earlier this is on a brand new set up but with the same drive so shouldnt really be any difference in the burn quality.

the failed verify made me a bit cautious but the games runs perfect not even any excessive spinning.
