iHAS324 B not working after flashing

good day to all,

i have lite on iHAS 324 b it was working well until i flash it to copy some XGD3 games .

i try to flash it back to the original firmware but stile just blinking.

it is open and close normally and shown in computer manege normal but can not red or wight any DVDs

any help please. :facepalm:

Have you flashed the correct firmware?


Because it normally only does that when your cross flashing firmwares.
If you are cross flashing did you do the convert the drive part?

I agree. Run thru the steps and see what one you missed. It worked first try for me. On the same drive.

I have fallowed it step by step and still the same.
Can anybody Mack me a backup from the original firmware and EEPROM for any of these models:
iHAS124B-AL0S
or
iHAS324B-AL1B
or
iHAS524B-AL2A

What part of it did not work? And also you can get the firmware simply by googling for it. The eeprom I'm not as sure.

Return it to where ever you bought it from, if it was a recent purchase, get a new one, try again, worked for me.

If you have successfully flashed it back to stock firmware, using official firmware update programs from liteon and it still does not recognize discs, then something went wrong and its probably un-reverseable, happened to me once, I simply returned it to where I bought it (newegg) then got a replacement.

Returning it right now could be a bad choice though, you will probably get a revision C edition, its your choice.

1- i cant return it back because it was working and i have broken it my self.
2-if i have the right eeprom the i can Mack it work aging.
