easiest way is to set up a network between your xbox and your pc.
Then ftp the avalaunch folders to your xbox.

You can make a disk to install it but its a bit more involved.
Create an iso of avalaunch using something like qwix.
you should have four items
Folder media
Folder Shoutcast
file Avalaunch.xbe
file Avalaunch.xml
burn it to a disk
then boot the disk and ava should start
go into filemanager and choose d: on the LHS
on the RHS go into c:
then on the LHS select the 2 avalaunch files and the two folders using x
press the start button and select transfer queue.
This will copy over the avalaunch dash.

Remove the disk and re-boot

Darn just re-read it and i missed an important step.

before you make the iso u have to rename the avalaunch.xbe to default.xbe.
then do all the above.
when the files are xfered use the file manager to rename the default.xbe back to avalaunche.xbe on the c: drive

Yeah, if you didn't rename avalaunch.xbe to default.xbe... don't panic you can't still use the disc. just change an option in X3CL in other Configure X3 Bios -> Startup tweaks and the boot disc file to avalaunch.xbe instead of default.xbe.

oh yes...how stupid of me..
of course you can keep it at avalaunch.xbe
the CFL change is exactly what u need to do to boot it correctly.

Thanks Poida^ a good spot
i still got my "old chip" head on forgetting all the wonderfull x3 features

The FTP sounds better I'll try that even though when I re booted the box the x3 love config screen is missing.
